Our Philosophy: Respect & Security
We view our customers as neighbors here in the Santa Cruz Mountains. We genuinely respect your privacy and believe that the safest way to handle your personal information is to minimize where it lives.
Why We Don't Store Your Data
To ensure your information is treated with the highest level of security, we use a "pass-through" system. We believe your sensitive data belongs in the hands of professional partners with dedicated, established security teams - not stored on a server in a mountain cabin.
How It Works
When you place an order, your shipping details exist in our system's memory only for the few seconds it takes to securely transmit them to Printify for fulfillment. Your payment details go directly to Stripe — we never see your credit card numbers. We do not keep a permanent record of your personal address in our own database.
Stripe is the "Safe Box"
We treat Stripe as the secure source of truth for your customer info. This keeps my hands clean and your data safe.
- Here and Gone: Your personal info is only in our system for the split second it takes to send it to the pros. We don't save it to a hard drive here in the mountains.
- Fixing Glitches: If the internet hiccups between paying and ordering, we don't dig through our own files to retry (because we don't have them). Instead, we securely check with Stripe to verify the transaction and finish the job.
The Only Thing We Keep
While we don't save your name or address, we do keep a secure log of anonymized Order IDs and Transaction Numbers. This allows us to find your order in Stripe or Printify if you email us for help. Think of it like keeping a receipt without keeping a guest list.
No Tracking, No Cookies
We don't use Google Analytics or any other tracking software. No cookies following you around the internet. When you leave our site, we're not watching where you go next.
Email Marketing & Subscriptions
We use Brevo to handle our newsletters and announcements. Your email only gets added to our list if you check the "Keep me updated" box during checkout or sign up through a form on our site. Buying something doesn't automatically sign you up for marketing emails.
Your California Privacy Rights
If you're a California resident, you have the right to know what Personal Identification Information (PII) is being collected about you. Since we don't store your PII ourselves, any such requests would be handled by our partners who do hold that data: Stripe (payments) and Printify (fulfillment).
No Sale of Data: To be crystal clear—we do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties for marketing purposes. Ever.
Want Your Data Deleted?
Since we don't store your info, deletion requests go to our partners:
- Stripe (payment info): support.stripe.com/contact
- Printify (order & shipping): printify.com/contact-us
- Resend (order confirmation emails): Contact us and we'll handle it
- Brevo (marketing emails): Use the unsubscribe link in any email, or contact us
